It's been a while since the formerly conjoined BFFs have been seen together -- but yesterday in L.A., Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunited in honor of their friend Casey Johnson.
The two, as well as Brandon Davis and Bijou Phillips, met up for a private memorial for the Johnson & Johnson heiress at Nicky Hilton's home.
Paris tweeted about the gathering later saying "We celebrated her life, we all miss and love her so much."

Nicole Richie was telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth Monday in court when she said she wasn't feeling well -- because now she's holed up in a hospital, sick as a dog.
Richie ended up having pneumonia ... and is now being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., this according to her rep.
Richie's cough-filled testimony on Monday still did the job -- she was granted restraining orders against two paparazzi she claimed caused her to get into a car accident.

TMZ has learned Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are not married, despite what was said in court today.
Mark Geragos, Nicole's lawyer, asked his client during the restraining order hearing this afternoon, "Did you call your husband?" Nicole answered, "Yes."
Sources connected with the case tell us Geragos misspoke and Nicole didn't correct him, but Nicole and Joel are not married. As a result, the restraining order does not cover Joel, though it will cover the kids.

Nicole Richie was in court this afternoon to get a permanent restraining order against the two paps she claims harassed her and caused her to get into a car accident. Here's how it went down:
UPDATE 5:28 PM ET -- Judge just granted the restraining order, in effect til 2012. They must stay 50 yards away.
UPDATE 5:26 PM ET -- Odd exchange: One of the paps just said he wouldn't take pics of Joel and Nicole if they didn't want him to -- and, shockingly, they don't want him to.
UPDATE 5:22 PM ET -- One of the paps just apologized to Joel on the record.
UPDATE 5:20 PM ET -- Joel says he likes to know the pap's names since they are followed so much.

Nicole Richie just won a temporary restraining order against two paparazzi who slammed into her car earlier this month.
A lawyer in Mark Geragos' firm, Tamar Arminak (inset), was in court this afternoon and convinced the judge the photogs -- Ivon Miguel and Bam Bam -- are a danger to Nicole.
They were ordered to stay 100 yards away from Nicole and have no contact -- either direct or indirect -- with her, her kids or her staff. Joel Madden is not covered by the restraining order.
In her declaration, Nicole says the harassment occurs "on a daily basis." She claims the paps have been "stalking our home, as we try to go about living our lives."
There's a hearing next month to make the restraining order permanent.

Nicole Richie's lawyer has just gone to court seeking a restraining order against the paparazzo who struck her car earlier this month.
The pap -- who ironically goes by Bam Bam -- was arrested after the crash.
As we first reported, famed P.I. Scott Ross paid a visit to Nicole's house after the crash, along with a lawyer from Mark Geragos' law firm.

We just got hold of the birth certificate for Nicole Richie's 5-week-old son, but one word was suspiciously missing: Richie.
The newborn boy's full name is listed as Sparrow James Midnight Madden -- no big deal, until you remember Joel Madden and Nicole aren't married ... and their daughter Harlow's last name is Richie Madden.
What's another six letters on an already-mouthful-of-a-name?

Looks like Nicole Richie may be lawyering up after her car crash yesterday -- and the lawyer is none other than Mark Geragos.
We got this shot of Tamar Arminak -- a lawyer in Geragos' firm -- and master P.I. Scott Ross entering Nicole Richie's property about an hour ago. Ross works for Geragos and the two of them have handled a bunch of celeb cases, including most recently People vs. Chris Brown.
We're told Richie is angry at the photog and may sue him -- she thinks he intentionally rear-ended her to create some drama.

UPDATE: The driver of the car that hit Nicole Richie's has been arrested (see below) for driving without a license -- a misdemeanor. 
TMZ has learned Nicole Richie was just involved in a car accident in Beverly Hills.
Law enforcement sources tell us Richie was rear-ended by a car driven by a paparazzo. We're told her kids were not in the car at the time of the crash.
Sources on scene say Richie is claiming she's in pain, but will not go to the E.R. -- instead she told authorities she will see her own private doctors.
We're told the driver of the other car is being cited for being an unlicensed driver and his car is being impounded.
Richie had an adult male passenger in the car -- no word on his condition.
